A quick tour for busy families — setup in minutes, less nagging all week.
Parents set the plan
Create tasks, pick due dates, assign points, and set up rewards kids actually want. Recurring chores and one-off jobs both work.
Dependents claim and complete
Dependents see their calendar and task list, mark work done, and watch points add up — no allowance spreadsheet required.
Points tell the story
The ledger shows what happened and why. Parents approve completed work; everyone sees a fair record.
Rewards & consequences
Dependents redeem points for rewards you define. When something doesn't get done, you can assign task-based or point consequences — your rules, your household.
Bulletin — household notes on the dashboard
Parents and dependents can leave short notes for the whole household or for one person — reminders, shout-outs, or "don't forget" messages. Recent posts appear on everyone's dashboard; open Bulletin from the account menu to see the full feed or post a new note. Parents can pin important posts so they stay at the top.
Bulletin posts also appear on dashboards inside PlanTaskIt. Optional push alerts for new posts and mentions can be turned on in My Account → Notifications. On iPhone, add PlanTaskIt to your Home Screen first, then enable notifications on each device.
Pro tip: install shortcut
On a phone or tablet, add PlanTaskIt like an app for one-tap access. After you sign in, use Install shortcut in the footer for step-by-step instructions. iPhone: Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen.
